AI for Real Estate Agents: Listings, Leads and Closings

AI for real estate agents handles the parts of a deal that are words, pictures and deadlines. It writes listing descriptions, touches up listing photos, cuts short video tours, replies to new leads fast, follows up after open houses and keeps every contract-to-close date in front of you. Pricing advice, negotiation and anything your broker must review stay with you.

What it does

What can AI do for a real estate agent?

It takes the marketing and the follow-up off your evenings. These are the jobs agents repeat on every listing and every buyer:

Listing description

You ask
“Write the MLS description from these notes and photos”
You get back
Three versions (MLS, Instagram, email blast) at the right lengths

Photos and video

You ask
“Brighten these and make a 30-second tour with music”
You get back
Edited photos and a short vertical video for social

Lead replies

You ask
“Answer this Zillow inquiry and offer two showing times”
You get back
A reply in your voice with times from your calendar, held for approval

Open-house follow-up

You ask
“Follow up with everyone who signed in Saturday”
You get back
A personal note to each visitor, sorted by how serious they sounded

Contract to close

You ask
“Track every deadline on the Maple Ave contract”
You get back
Inspection, appraisal, financing and closing dates, with reminders to you and the client

Day one

What does that look like in a real week?

Three requests in a row the day a listing goes live:

  1. Here are the photos and my notes. Write the listing and pick the best 12 photos.
  2. Now a 30-second video for Instagram, with the price and open-house time at the end.
  3. And a 'just listed' email to my sphere, with the video.

You check one description, one video and one email before anything is posted or sent. The same thread keeps the open-house sign-ins, so Monday's follow-ups write themselves. New leads that come in during the week get first replies within minutes. See lead follow-up for the follow-up sequence and inbox triage for the rest of the inbox.

What should a real estate agent not hand to AI?

Let it write. You decide what's true and what's allowed.

  • Unreviewed listing wording. The Fair Housing Act prohibits housing discrimination because of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status or disability (HUD). Read every description for phrases that describe who the home is "for", not what the home is.
  • Edited photos that misstate the property. Brightening is fine. Removing a power line or virtually staging a room may need a disclosure, so check your MLS rules.
  • Pricing and negotiation advice. AI can format your CMA. The price opinion is yours.
  • Anything your broker must approve. Keep that review step. AI just gets the draft there sooner.

How does Bento fit with your CRM, MLS and phone?

Bento works next to the tools you already use. It doesn't replace them. It reads lead emails from Zillow, Realtor.com or your website, your calendar, the photos you shoot, and the contract PDFs. It writes, edits and schedules the work above.

It works in Gmail, Slack, Notion and thousands of other apps. Every reply can wait for your approval, or low-risk ones like showing confirmations can go out on their own.

It's one subscription for every kind of AI. The listing copy, the photo edits, the video tour and the voiceover for it all come from the same place, so you don't pay for a writing tool, a photo app and a video editor separately.

Plans start at $20 a month, your whole team is included at no extra cost per person, and there's a 7-day free trial. See every plan.

It is not an MLS, a transaction-management system your brokerage requires, or an e-signature tool.

FAQ

Questions real estate agents ask first.

Can AI write listing descriptions that are fair-housing safe?

It can draft them, and you can ask it to describe only the property. You still have to read each one. The responsibility for the wording stays with you and your brokerage.

Is virtual staging allowed?

Often, with a clear disclosure, but rules vary by MLS and state. Check yours before posting staged photos, and keep the unedited originals.

Can it reply to Zillow leads automatically?

Yes, if you allow it. Most agents start with replies held for a quick approval, then let routine first replies and showing confirmations go out on their own.

How is this different from a property-management tool?

Agents work on transactions: one listing, one buyer, one closing. Property managers run ongoing tenant work. That's a different page: property managers.
